I can remove  Akuffo-Addo from office-Alban Bagbin tells

|After the ''Adjinkwa Budget'' was read, a post budget forum held at Ho in the Volta Region saw the Head of Unicameral Legislative arm of Government, The speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin frustrated saying the legislative branch of Parliament has in many cases approved bills in favour of the Executive Branch of the Parliament headed by the president.

He went on to remind the house that the legislative arm of government wields enough power to remove the president from office, His words ''let me re-emphasize that the 8th parliament is properly positioned not to allow itself to be bullied by playing second position to the executive arm, Parliament can remove the president but the president cannot do same to parliament. As speaker of the 8th parliament, he the speaker can remove the president from office through parliament''

He says however right after that removing the president from office is not something he is after but just stating the facts and that they should keep that in mind. It's important to note that the head of parliament is the Speaker, followed by the majority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. That makes the speaker the presiding officer of the parliament
